Miller & Ryan: Engagement · Central Park · New York

by Kyle

LocationCentral Park

The couple cheek to cheek, both smiling at the camera
The couple in the Bethesda Terrace Arcade beneath its tiled ceiling
The couple holding hands in front of the arches of Bethesda Terrace
The couple standing at the edge of the Lake with trees behind them
Miller leaning back into Ryan against the stone balustrade, her eyes closed
The couple hugging by the Lake, both smiling
The couple sitting close on a green park bench
The couple kissing on Bow Bridge with the skyline behind them
Close-up of her ring as she rests her hand on his knee
The couple standing beneath a spreading tree on a Central Park lawn
The couple sitting on the edge of Bethesda Fountain beneath the Angel of the Waters
The couple standing close and smiling in front of the Lake
The couple kissing on the shore of the Lake as a rowboat passes
Ryan kissing Miller's temple as she smiles
Black and white of Miller kissing Ryan's cheek on a park bench
The couple leaning against a carved stone balustrade by the Lake
Black and white of the couple leaning together beside the museum's stone columns
Rowboats on the Lake surrounded by autumn trees
Close-up of her engagement ring as she rests her hand on his corduroy shirt
The couple by the Lake with Bethesda Fountain behind them
The couple smiling on a lawn in Central Park
The couple standing on the steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art under its red banners
The couple standing on a park path in front of a stone arch bridge
The couple leaning on a bridge railing among golden autumn leaves
Miller resting her hand on Ryan's shoulder, her head against his
The couple walking hand in hand toward a stone archway
Miller with her arm around Ryan, both laughing, against a stone wall
Black and white of Miller laughing as Ryan kisses her cheek

Central Park, created in 1858 and designed by Frederick Law Olmsted and Calvert Vaux, spans 843 acres at the center of Manhattan and is a National Historic Landmark. At its heart, Bethesda Terrace overlooks the Lake and the Angel of the Waters fountain, and its Arcade holds the only ceiling in the world made of encaustic tiles, nearly 16,000 of them from England’s Minton company.
