Manasquan is a small borough at the southern end of Monmouth County on the Jersey Shore, with about a mile of oceanfront. At its southern edge, the Manasquan Inlet joins the Manasquan River to the Atlantic Ocean; reopened in 1931, it marks the northern end of the inland Intracoastal Waterway in New Jersey.
