Aaron & Nicola: Engagement · Tribeca · New York

LocationTribeca

The couple walking down a cobblestone street in the sun
Close-up of her engagement ring as she rests her hand on his white shirt
The couple embracing on a tree-lined sidewalk
One World Trade Center rising above the trees of a downtown park
The couple holding hands across a quiet Tribeca street
Black and white of the couple sharing a kiss in the middle of the street
The couple embracing against a black wall beneath red brick
The couple on the steps of a loading dock
The couple laughing in an embrace beside a glass storefront
The couple sitting together on dark steps, both smiling
The couple forehead to forehead in the afternoon sun
The couple smiling side by side by a brick building
Aaron dipping Nicola for a kiss on Staple Street
Aaron kissing Nicola's cheek on a park bench
The couple sitting and standing in the window of Laughing Man Coffee
The couple on a wide outdoor staircase between brick walls
Black and white of the couple on a stoop, her arm around his shoulder
The couple below green-framed windows and globe lights in Tribeca
The couple standing against a red brick wall
The couple crossing a crosswalk with the downtown skyline behind them
Black and white of the couple sitting close on a spiral staircase
Black and white of Nicola hugging Aaron from the side, both smiling
The couple leaning against a brick building beneath green-framed windows
The couple walking hand in hand under the Staple Street skybridge
The couple standing on a metal staircase by a glass-block wall
Black and white of the couple kissing on a cobblestone street
Nicola smiling up at Aaron as they lean against a brick wall
Nicola kicking up her heel as they embrace under the skybridge
Close-up of the couple holding hands, his watch on his wrist
The couple sitting together, smiling, in soft evening light

Tribeca, short for Triangle Below Canal, is a Lower Manhattan neighborhood first developed in the early 19th century; its name was coined in the 1970s, and four historic districts were designated there in 1991–92. On Staple Street, an enclosed skybridge built in 1907–08 still links two former New York Hospital buildings, the House of Relief at 67 Hudson Street and its Ambulance Annex at 9 Jay Street.
